Wow WOW Wow!!! I am totally addicted to her books!!!! I began my journey with Jennifer Malone Wright in her free download of Vampire Hunter's Daughter Pt. I after my teen urged me to read it. I was instantly hooked! I immediately purchased the next Pt. II, III, IV, & V in her series, & read them all within 2 days. (Having 4 children of my own I don't always get as much reading time as I'd like, but I was so anxious to see what was to come in each that I stayed up way too late reading until I finished them all without even realizing it.) Sadly this was when I realized Pt. VI was not yet released, so I searched for more of her writings to satisfy my craving. :) I was very excited to see what this novel had to offer, & to be perfectly honest I simply could not put this book down!!! It sucked me in, & refused to allow distractions. Every bit of it held my full attention, & I shall await the next on pins & needles to see what is to come! She has a knack for bringing her characters to life!! They feel so real & make me want to know more about them & their lives. The battles are intense & feel like you're right there in the action. You won't regret reading it!!
UPDATE....If you have read any of her books you will be pleased to know that Part VI of the The Vampire Hunter's Daughter was Greatness! Hopefully we will be reading her following series Arcadia Falls & a sequel to The Birth of Jaiden SOON!! :)

The Birth of Jaiden was a great read. I was thrilled to find that the main character wasn't a teenage vamp, and that he didn't sparkle or brood. Well at least he didn't brood for no reason. There is a bit of brooding involved in protecting a human baby from your vampire self and your vampire enemies. I'm ready for the next book as soon as the author can get it out! This book was a big change from teen vamp books and more serious in matters that aren't specific to vampires. Read it and see!
This is an Amazing story!! I loved it from the start!I fell in love with Jennifer Malone Wright's writing style while reading her short story series The Vampire Hunter's Daughter, so of course I had to check out The Birth of Jaiden as well, I am glad I did. OMG this book in so UNIQUE!! It is such an amazingly awesome story with twists and turns, unexpected character traits, and an evil villian I just want to decapitate.

Long ago, a prophecy was forseen. A child would be born, a child who held the power to destroy the world. Now, it is up to Alexander Lucas, a one-hundred year old vampire, to keep the baby girl safe from his arch enemy Malcolm.

In order to save her, Alexander must raise the child as his own. Will he be able to resist his vampire tendencies to care for a human baby? With the of help the wisest of the supernatural, an organization called The Great Council, Alexander must face many battles to ensure the safety of this very special child.

I love this storyline, imagine a vampire raising a human child, for the better good of mankind, just makes for an unexpected twist in Vampire Reads and that is just the storyline.

Alexander Lucas is an awesome chatacter, I have never seen a vampire quite like him before, definitely unique and absolutely distraught by his past, can he truely protect th child from the clutches of Malcolm and his queen without harming Jaiden?

The Great Council consists of a cast of very personable characters, attitudes to match, coupled with unlikely allies, that justs makes he story even better.

The world Jennifer has created is absolutely spine-tingling
, filled with mystery, suspense, loyalty, tragedy, action-packed fight scenes, and not to mention vampires, witches, angels, and more! Just when I thought I knew what is gunna happen, I didn't. I loved it!

I don't like to use spoilers in my reviews, because they can ruin a book for some.

I highly recommend this book to all YA readers out there. This is Vampire Read you don't want to miss!!
I can't wait for the other one to come out. I want to see what is going to happen next. this book was great.
Where to begin; I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I had to go back and re-read the last several chapters as I blew through them in an effort to see how it ended, what becomes of Jaiden??

This is not your typical vampire story. It is full of new twists, new takes on supernatural beings and an interesting storyline. Vampires, angels, dark angels, witches, warlocks, slayers and let's not forget, baby Jaiden! Alex an oh so very old vampire, with a conscience and a guardian angel, stumbles upon a baby in a dumpster. His already not so normal world is turned upside down. You see Alex prays nightly, prays to god to give him purpose, is Jaiden his purpose?

The story starts out a bit slow as you get to know the characters but, once it gets going hang cause it's gonna be a bumpy ride! There's a little bit of everything in this book... friendship, trust, betrayal, the struggle between right and wrong and (oh yes) LOVE! Jennifer only hints toward the relationship between Alex and Isabella (the nanny/witch) so I cannot wait for the continuation in this series... I'm so excited to watch Alex and Isabella grow and what challenges they will face protecting and nurturing Jaiden.
This book was amazing from the first moment I flipped it open to start to read it! I was a huge fan of Jennifer Malone Wright's The Vampire Hunters Daughter short stories but this book by far made one of the best reads I have read in awhile!
Alex is a vampire who struggles with what he is, he refuses to lose his faith and asks god for something to make him look forward to waking up to each night of his immortal life! His prayers were answered with Jaiden a baby girl destined to change the world yet faces a long life of danger! This book has it all! Demon's, Vampires,Angels, witches and even slayers! What's even more interesting in this book is all of them have to work together to protect this child and mankind! Thank you Jennifer Malone Wright for another wonderful read! I look forward to reading what happens next as you continue this journey of Alex and Jaiden!
